Job Details:

Data Solutions Engineer (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb)), (Whitehouse Station, NJ): Work closely with the business partners, data engineers and technology teams and act as liaison between domain and data platform teams (10%); Interact with domain and capabilities owners to document issues, data requirements and write technical specifications & design documents (5%); Understand the source system data model and support the development on the raw data ingestion pipelines (15%); Work with domain and data platform teams to plan and prioritize features and backlog according to business value (5%); Pursue data integration efforts by working with data engineers, automation engineers and Visualization developers to form a cohesive unit responsible for provisioning business information (15%); Work with Data scientists and understand their ML/AI models to deploy them into the MLOPS framework maintained by IT and integrate them into the data pipelines (5%); Provide data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers and handle ad-hoc analysis & report generation requests from the business (15%); Prepare and maintain documentation on data structures, process flows and data models (5%); Build data & mapping specifications for development teams (5%); Respond to data related inquiries to support business and technical teams (5%); Analyze, build and document data lineage (5%); and Ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices, gathering, and entering missing data, and resolving any anomalies (10%). Must have the following skills and experience in order to perform the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with P&C insurance processes, risk data attributes and concepts such as Limits, Exposure bases, Coverages, Packaged, Rating Factors; Experienced in identifying, capturing, profiling & analyzing data from multiple sources (internal and external); Experience with data architecture, models and database design development; Experience designing and developing efficient data pipelines that handle large volumes of data; Experience with MLOPS framework to integrate ML/AI models for data enrichment developed by data scientists into data pipelines; Experience with Azure cloud tools, Databricks, Pyspark, Python, SQL and ETL frameworks; Experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of analytical information with attention to detail and accuracy; Experience with SQL, with the ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries; Experience with analysis, design, testing and deployment of applications; and Experience managing competing development demands. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field and at least two years of experience as a Data Engineer or related occupation. Option to work from home may be available. Salary: $107,000 - $115,000/year.
